Cerrosafe is the only way I will try to cast a chamber.

Use Cerosafe.
It has well defined and documented properties, and shrnks slightly on initial cooling, then expands as it cools further. You remove it easily when it shrinks, and then take measurments with a KNOWN ERROR % after it completely cools. |
