This might help some. #4BK at a minimum, #1BK or 00BK is all around best. If you live in an apartment or townhouse I would go with #1BK.

This picture is to show the shot size comparison and number of balls in each shell.

After useing 00 buckshot on deer when I lived in NJ (no rifle hunting allowed ) I just use Remington 2 3/4 00 buckshot .Not fancy but works like a champ in all my 12 gauge shotguns .
