Opinion on scope choice needed?
I have my choices nailed down to 3 scopes.
The 2.25x16 Bushnell Elite 6500 with DOA reticle The Zeiss 4.5x14 Conquest with Rapid Z 800(or 1000) Leupold VX3 4.5x14 with CDS. I am leaning towards the Zeiss..... I am pretty sure the CDS system works much like the Custom GreyBull Precision Leupold optic seen here... YouTube - GreyBull Precision Long Range Hunting |

What rifle, caliber, bullet weight and what will the rifle be used for?

I am going to pick up a Savage Long Range hunter when it comes out.
Most likely a 7mm Mag or (possibly .300 Win Mag.) Most likely will be using a 168gr Berger or 160gr AB in 7mm. Will be used for Mulies, Whitetail, Elk, and Moose. |

I personally would prefer the Leupold. Nothing wrong with the Zeiss, it's great glass, I just think for hunting it's too much scope. I purchased one Leupold scope and became hooked, now they're all wearing Leupold glass.
