Scattergun project....
I was lookin for a SxS shotgun project....I came across this J. Stevens....It's a 5100 made in the 40's....It had 30 inch barrels with a big dent in one..out toward the end....There was an old dry cracked butt pad on it too....There was still some case hardening on the receiver and no cracks in the wood....The action was very tight....I shortened the barrels to 18.5 inches and put a decelerator pad on it....Anyway..this is how it turned out....

That shotgun needs to ride behind the seat of a pickup truck...
