Winchester Pre-64 Model 70... Built in 1954, sent to Roy Weatherby in 1955 to be punched out to .300 Weatherby... Scope is a Leupold VX-III... The rifle was bought new by one of my grandpa's neighbor's in Wyoming who used it to take all of his Elk, Deer and Antelope from 1954 till he passsed in 2006.. It's one of those, if this gun could talk kinda of deals... Its actually not all that heavy, handles well but kicks like a mule... Accuracy is still well within acceptable, but I see the writing on the wall.. Is it a lot of gun for deer? Yes it is... I feel confident with it in my hands..

Don't have a picture of it but my old Parker Hale 1200 in .270 Win is my favorite deer rifle. Although I've killed more with my .50 cal muzzle loader. However my .270 Win just screams Mule Deer!

Remington 600 carbine in .308 Winchester. My first deer rifle, given to me by my father. I still have it. I also have maybe a dozen other rifles as good, some maybe better, but that one is special, and will always be my favorite.

Savage 110 in 30-06 although my Winchester 70 in 308 is fast becoming the number 1. I have had the Savage for quite a few years and the Winchester for only a year and half. Used it only one season so far and dropped a deer the first morning/hunt tht I used it.

Ruger 77R in 7X57. I have hunted with this rifle on and off since 1978. Not the most accurate, but it feels right.

My baby and favorite hunting partner is my Rem 700 BDL IN 7MM Rem Mag. She's been pillar bedded and glassed. Atop is a Nikon Monarch scope and she rests on a Harris bi-pod. Loves to launch 120 grn Nosler Ballistic Tips over IMR-4350 powder. I hope her little sister,in 270 Win, treats me good as well. Sorry if that sounds creepy but it's the first brand new gun I ever got. Thanks to the missus.
