Good morning all.

Picked up a roll of 3M texture tape yesterday at the h. depot. It is rubber tape w/ adhesive on back and not too sharp grit on the front. Came in a roll 2" by 5 yards. Did the Hi Power last night and want to do the Springfield tonight. Really improves my grip and the feel. Did the front strap 2" strip vertical and cut the ends flush where they wrap around towards the mag well windows. Secured down with the stocks(ugly plastic ones BTW). Will report as to how well this setup holds.

FWIW- I ordered a couple Mec-Gar HP mags from CDNN. They have a decent selection of mags.

Grip tape was the easy method to modify one's grip without paying ducats for checkering or hammering away with a prick punch for stippling. Non-permanent, it remains as viable today as before.
