Bad news from Arizona?!?!?!?!

I found this article from Arizona Red Mountian Patriots;

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politi...e3d_story.html

Senators McCain and Flake considering joining the President on his Mandate to Register all Private Gun Sales!

The talks, led by two Democrats and two Republicans, are expected to earn more GOP support in the coming days and likely enough to move the bill through the Senate, according to senior aides of both parties who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

I've written them letters! Several letters at this point! I have now resorted to banging my head against a wall. I have been so proud of my state up unto this point.

McCain is unfortunately reliably unreliable on anything.

Is McCain retiring soon? He seems to be doing a lot of things lately that are enraging his constituents (e.g. immigration).

He won a tough reelection fight for another 6 year term by promising his ticked off constituents that he'd learned his lesson and won't be a RINO anymore. He lied.

McCain can't be trusted on anything he says, in my opinion. I respect his service to our country but sometimes I really wonder if he doesn't have some serious mental problem from his stay in Hanoi since some things he has done make no sense.

The problem with guys who realize they've reached their career apex is that they no longer feel the need to please anybody.

This can be a good or a bad thing.

In McCain's case, it isn't good.

Let's not forget that McCain voted in support of the original AWB. That said, let's stick to politicians' records and actions. We don't do general politics.

Tom Servo, ignoring the tendency of lame ducks to start behaving more like their younger selves is unwise. I don't care if it is "general politics," in one sense - in a very real sense, it means we can EXPECT politicians such as Obama to become LESS centrist if they win a lame-duck term. With nothing more to lose, the tendency is to swing for the bleachers.

Agreed, but we can discuss McCain's (or other politicians') actions without RINO-calling.

Let's not forget that it is McCain AND Flake!

I think initiating a recall would be ideal in this instance.
Quote"Recall efforts may serve other purposes, such as a focus for building consensus and organizations and as a warning to politicians that their conduct is not appreciated."

Does anyone know how to get this ball rolling? Thoughts?

The House of Representatives will (have to) be our defense against such insanity.

I've had to delete some posts. I know feelings run high but wishing past or future harm to an opponent is not appropriate for TFL.

I wish harm upon no individual. I only think that a recall would be a great idea to get Senators Flake and McCain's attention back to the basics. I find the above referenced article to be disturbing. I sent an e-mail asking clarification for their positions but I have not received any response. In fact, McCain's website requires a subject for the email and 2A or gun rights is not even an option.
