Help locating info on S&W custom 686

Several years ago there was a custom S&W 686. I believe was military. It had a 6 or 8 inch od green heavy shrouded barrel. Is anyone familiar with this revolve and can share info. I am wanting to find one.

There is a green 3" S&W 681 Performance Center. Is that what you are thinking of?

No. This had an 8 inch barrel. The barrel was square shaped if I recall correctly. It was in an old price guide magazine I used to have. Around 1998 I believe. It didn't have a numbered model. The model was a name.
