How To Remove SKS Barrel?

I would like to remove barrel for the smith work, anybody have good advice?

It is a Yugo. I wonder if I could fab up a reciever vise of some sort.

It depends on the make. Most of them are threaded and can be removed simply (not the same as easily) with a barrel wrench and reciever vise.

Chinese commercial varients are pinned and pressed like an AK 47 and you'll need a hydraulic press. I saw some barrelled Yugo actions pretty cheap online, they probably have very corroded barrels and gas systems, they'd be ideal to practice on.
