Zastava Mini-Mauser Stock
Hello: Recently picked up my Zastava M-85 in full mannlicher configuraton.
The wood is beautiful but it seems that Zastava doesn't apply much finish to the stock. Do any members out there know what the factory uses as a finish (oil, poly, etc.)? I'd really like to make the grain and the rosewood grip cap "jump out". Thanks Much |

Zastava uses a varnish with stain in it. You will probably not be able to make the grain "pop" by just applying a finish, it will most likely require a refinish.
