Ugly Python on Gunbroker....

Any of you looking for an ugly shooter grade Python, there's one on Gunbroker for a hair under $1,200. No bidders so far. This one is going to need more than a factory fluff&buff to make it pretty. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=479663010

I think it would take about $600 or so to restore this one - maybe more because of the location of the pitting.

must have been a duty gun. Bobbed hammer. It has some charm 'i worked for a living not a trophy' look.

It would be a nice find for 7 bills. Could shoot the snot outta it cuz its never gonna be pretty again. Those Hogues have to go. Gross.

Give me an old T-shirt, a tube of Flitz, and a can of car wax, and I'll make it look like a different gun.

I would actually be interested in buying and really enjoying shooting many many rounds through that if the seller didn't want an outrageous price for a well used firearm.

Rust on the sideplate looks like blood damage.

Yes, me too......but not for 1,375. But, if a good gunsmith purchased that gun for that price, he'll make that gun perty again and get $2,300 for it. You'd have to be really good with metal - going to have to add some metal where those pits are, machine it, sand it, polish it and recarve that pony in it...for starters.

Or, someone got a fun python to shoot and just didn't want to look forever to save a few hundred bucks.
