SBR question
Hey everybody. I am new to the full auto world but I have a question. I am saving my pennies to buy an M16 full auto lower. My question is about the uppers for this lower. If I own a registered M16 lower, and want to purchase a SBR upper for it, do I have to pay another $200 to register the rifle as a SBR as well, or does the fact that it is a machine gun allow me to put any upper on it without registering the gun again? Thanks.

Registered fullauto trumps SBR. If you have a M16 you can put any upper you want on it.
If you want to suppress it you have to buy a tax stamp for your suppressor. Also, don't have a AR-15 and a M16 and to many uppers shorter than 16 inches. YOu start treading in the constructive possession territory then.
