S.W.A.T. Gets a New Art Director
We're very proud to announce that one of TFL's resident artists is taking over as Art Director beginning with the February issue. Our own "runt of the litter" has accepted the position. Lest anyone think that this young lady is a hobbyist, think again. She has held the same position in several other print magazines and has absolutely wowed us with her work and ideas.
Usen Gandara has served us loyally and worked really hard these past 16 months. I owe him a debt of gratitude and more than that. However, Usen is making a new home in New Orleans with his fiance and will be moving on to other great things. We'll miss him. So....just when you thought you were used to the new SWAT layout.....you ain't seen nothin' yet! Stay tuned. Rich

Hmmm, O.K., Rich it's your dance, but anyone who thinks they can direct Art Eatman better be the right woman for the job. Contrary old rascal, and probably armed!
runt, good luck directing Mr. Eatman.

I have just earned the coolest gig on the planet! This is going to be so fun! The first thing I'm going to do is make a bumper sticker that says, "My boss can kick your boss' a$s"! |

Actually, I'll still be working "there" half-days on ads and a new publication we had just started. Eventually, I'll phase it out entirely.

Oh, it was something about refried beans - Oleg, Rob and I ate at a Mexican restaurant.
Denny probably read that while eating lunch. |
