Most Trap shooters shoot with both eyes open . Some have a problem with the shooting Eye not being the dominate eye . We have used glasses like your using for years . ( small piece of tape like 1/4 inch) A lot of shooters will put a small piece of scotch tape in the field of view ( on the lens) of the off eye . It will block the off eye from seeing the barrel/sight . it works for a bunch of trapshooters and it may help you . When not shooting it is not in the way as most look under it .
