Speer Gold Match 308 168gr. hpbt
Has anyone loaded this bullet for 308 Win and if so, how well did it perform for you? I was just curious cause I found a box locally but haven't got a chance to load and try any yet. Thanks!

Speer's bullets have never been popular with competitive shooters. That fact might give you an idea of how accurate they are.
In the field, they've done pretty well on game and some folks swear by them. So, it depends on what your objectives are for using it. |

If you can get a box cheap go for it. Use the same data as you would a 168 Sierra Match king. I recommend IMR 4895 or IMR 4064 for paper punching.
If you can get some boxes of Nosler 168's cheap, try them. I think those are outstanding target bullets. Sierra is the gold standard, in my opinion, whatever year's Sierra target bullets I have bought and used shot well. They are very consistent.
