Norvell-shapleigh

Hi,

Does anyone have any information on a Norvell-Shapleigh double barrel shotgun? It is from a old hardware store in Missouri.

Thanks

Norvell-Shapleigh

The only reference I have says Norvell-Shapeigh Hardware Co,contracted with The Tobin Arms Co to build hammerless boclock doubles from 1907 to 1915. However, all the Tobins Ihave seen were sidelocks.. JFC

Gun

I'm not sure if you would still be checking this site but are you in possession of the shotgun that you inquired upon? I am looking for one of these as I am a direct relative of Saunders Norvell. I'd be interested in purchasing this from you if you were interested. Please let me know.
