Any hogs in CO?
I've heard rumors about some hogs in Kiowa and the SE corner of the state; however, I am not sure how to follow up on these rumors. Has anybody heard of hogs here?

Are there wolves in CO?
I have a feeling that where there are wolves, feral hogs are hot going to be too big of a problem. I think I'd be a good fight but I think wolves will kill a boar - I mean we see what happens on YouTube with dog hunting, the wolves are even bigger and stronger than most of those hunting dogs. And aside from the boars, I imagine they take a lot of piglets. I can't blame them - it's the other white meat. |

First place I go to whenever anyone asks "are there hogs here?":
Feral Swine Map Too bad they limit the resolution, especially given their stance on getting rid or reducing the populations, oh well. That site also has .pdf of maps showing hog distribution in the US going back several years, pretty interesting to see the growth and spread of the things. Good luck. |

That feral swine map is way off - at least in FL and GA. It shows big white areas (supposedly no hogs) where I know for a fact that there are good populations.

You talking about the area north of Orlando? If so, yea, I used to hunt hogs there back in the late '70's.
Look for the link, top center, report as needed. I've done it for hogs I've sighted in Alabama, it's pretty easy. |

I always figured it was 50 states, more in some places than others. They can survive in almost any environment and reproduction is just one of many things they're good at. If you haven't seen them yet, keep looking. You will.
