.308 Win case wildcats?

Can someone point me in the right direction to find the wildcats/factory loads based on the .308 Winchester case? I'm specifically interested in those loads that don't exceed OAL for the .308 Win.

Go to Amazon.com and enter the search phrase "wildcat cartridges". There are several books on wildcats available. Or go to www.reloadbench.com for some ideas.

Some of the carridges you are looking for are widely availble, some are wildcats:
.22 Middlestead
243 Winchester
260 Remington
7mm-08 Remington
308 Winchester
338-08
358 Winchester
etc, etc, etc.

Scorch got this after I already was posting, so I'll note that .243 with some of the higher ballistic coefficient bullets has some pretty incredible long range performance. Easily reaches 3000 fps, and shoots very flat, carries lots of energy downrange. I was considering having my m1a built for it, but chickened out because of the .30 bullet availability. Generally about 500 fps slower, though

To Scorch's list, add the .25 Souper and note that the .338-08 is now commercially listed as the .338 Federal. I think there have been 9.3mm and .375 wildcats on .308 brass, but if not, they would be easily done. That covers all the standard bore diameters, what do you want one FOR?

Just some speculation on my part. I've seen that Magpul is currently developing a "Big Brother" to their Masada/Bushmaster ACR in .308 Win/7.62 Nato. With the quick change barrel system, a barrel in a lighter caliber like the .243 and another in a larger than .308 caliber that require only a barrel change might be pretty nice.
