caplock problem

I already posted this over at THR but I thought I'd see if anyone here knows how to do this.

I have an 1842 model military pistol. Recently I had a couple of screws replaced in the lock and they are identical to the original but now it won't hold on half cock. It worked properly before I had those screws replaced but I guess the fellow that I had make the replacement screws didn't quite get things back together right. Anyone know how to tune the lock to make the half cock position firm and safe?

Thanks CnB

Edit note* The admin can remove this post/thread. Jim Keenan over at THR just answered my question.
