Howdy George et al: I have a Ruger 10/22 that shoots surprisingly tight groups considering it's just a Walmart "off the shelf" rifle. I do have a little trouble picking up the front sight. Are you aware of a source for an HK-type or other ghost ring sight that would fit a 10/22 and install without major modification? I believe this would help a little. Also, I just noted that "Nickster" is asking about the AK-47 Saiga 7.62x39 on the Rifle board. I'll try to post to him later and relay all the info that you helped me find out a few weeks back concerning "legal" mag capacity/gun modifications, etc. Thanks for your help, as always.

Tribune, the Ashley (same folks that make the scout rifle kits) ghost ring will fit the factory rear scope base holes and I believe it will work with the factory front sight. They run around $60. http://www.ashleyoutdoors.com/mounts.html George

another option is the Zepher system that uses the sight base to mount a HK-like sight I think it can be had from gun parts...
if not do a search for Zepher + sights. |
