Browning Ducks Unlimited Silver ???
My friend recently recieved a Browning Silver DU model in camo as payment for a concrete job he was doing. He called asking if he could shoot any size shell through the gun. Not being familiar with this gun or seeing it I instructed him to look at the barrel and read to me what it said. He replied back, chambered for 3 1/2 only.
Here is my question. Is it truly 3 1/2 only or can he fire shorter shells through this. ie 3" and 2 3/4" shells. It seems silly that he can only fire 3 1/2" shells through this. How would one practice or take it to shoot sporting clays and still have a shoulder left after a round? I checked Browning's website but found it vague on what the true answer is. Thank you in advance to whomever can answer this for me. Brian from Wisco |

You can shoot 3.5" and shorter shells in a 3.5" chamber.
