dumb question

probably a dumb question, but does anyone use one of those 3-point tactical slings on their hunting firearms? I'm not interested in the "tacticool" thing (at least I don't think I am ), but they seem like they'd be very practical for still hunting and spot-and-stalk hunting. Or am I just over-thinking it?

I have one on a Steyr Scout and used it on a boar hunt. It seemed to work well on an off hand shot on a hog backed up against a deadfall tree. A case study of one, but I liked it.

I use an old fashioned two position sling.
The three position sure does seem to have advantages.
