Ring Height Question

Im looking to buy Badger Ordnance - USMC M40A3 Rings .886 30mm w/1 inch inserts $203.

-or-

Badger Ordnance 30mm Rings, USMC M40A3 .886" High
$231.

For a Remington 700 SPS tactical 308 win.
Badger Alloy Base306-06A Rem 700 (SA) 20MOA
With a Bushnell 3200 tactical.

Im looking to get as low as I can with the scope for the tightest cheek weld I can get or close.

This is my goal for scope height or +.5 of an inch higher than that. Will these fit the job or what size/model rings do I need to get?

Well, doing a little math....

If you've got the 42mm version and allow and extra 2mm for the body (a guess) then you have 1.7322 inches, divided by 2 you've got .86614 inches from the center of the scope to the outer edge. That would leave you with .0198 inches without considering barrel taper.
