I own quite a few CZ's and Sig's and I love them both. That being said, my CZ's get more range and carry time for a reason. Several of my friends that have shot my CZ's now own at least one of their own. However now that I have "most" of the CZ's I've wanted, a Sig P227 is next on my purchase list...

I own an exeter Sig made in 2012, and have had 0 problems with it through 850 rounds so far. Given me nothing but pure joy.

I had a W. German CPO P226 dated 1991. It was an excellent gun; loved the overall feel of it. That is until I handled a CZ 75B. No knock against the Sig, but the 75B felt more natural. I realized that I didn't have to tolerate the Sig's bulky grip, specifically where it bulges under the slide release and decocker.
The size and bumps are just right for me on my WG 226 when using my strong hand. If you are a lefty I can see where they would not be in the best place.

The E2 takes care of those issues though.
