Good evening guys, I just went on the BST forum and decided that I would advertise a pistol scope that I would like to sale, but it wouldn't let me post. Is there something else that I need to do?

Yes, there is: as is stated in the rules for the Gun Show forums, you need to have been a member here for a minimum of 30 days. It's also important to read and understand those rules before posting, so you have a few days to do that.
