Ruger Vaquero grip frame

I have a Ruger Vaquero Bisley in .45 Colt. Will the grip frame from a Blackhawk (Or other Ruger SA) fit this revolver? Numrich does list the parts but not whether they will interchange.

Edit: Oops, thought you were looking for grip info, not frame interchangeability - sorry. Yet that article may provide the details you need to make the determination...

velocette, You might be bighting off more than you can chew! You can fit a Blackhawk grip frame to a Bisley but a lot of detailed work is required. The grip frame trigger slot has to be "opened" up to acomodate the Bisley trigger and the guard portion also has to be modified because the Bisley trigger rotates backward further than a Blackhawk trigger. The Bisley hammer needs to be modified to the same "contour" of the Blackhawk hammer and the hammer slot also lengthened. But before all "that", you have to make sure the Blackhawk frame holes your using closely match up with the Bisley frame. Then there's the cylinder latch spring and plunger to get properly "aligned", etc., etc. This is not a mod for the un-experienced!...................Dick

Thanks guys, I think that it was an idea that will pass into history unfulfilled.
Oh well, the Bisley shoots really well and comfortably, its just not as pretty.
