worth 1,500?

always wanted a higher end 1911....wilson, bear, brown, and if i had my choice a hunter custom...anyhow a lesbear tactical popped up locally on armslist today for 1,500... going to check it out later today. thoughts? is this a decent deal? just picked up a new solo cdp last week for 1k so im not really looking to drop another 1.5k if this is not at least a "decent" deal thanks for input in advance

If the gun is really is near NIB condition like that picture seems to show, it would be a pretty good deal. I believe new Baers start in the $1800 region.

If it is new i would say it is well worth it, especially during this gun buying frenzy going on. From my understanding all major custom 1911 makers are backed up and putting in an order for a gun will mean you will have to wait a couple of months to get it after you put in the order. I would jump on it

If you go to Les Baer's site, you'll see that it lists at $1930.00 However, I've been following the auction game for several years now and I can tell you that it's worth what the next fellow is willing to pay for it. So, what are you willing to pay?

I agree with your analysis. The gorgeous grips help a lot.

I was going to say, go check it out. If it looks good, give the guy's number, I'll buy it!
I wish I could find a nice used Baer or DW near me.

Good luck with it!
