Started last Thursday actually.
Spent 2 1/2 days in stand. Saw close to 30 does, only 3 were close enough to shoot. Saw 6 bucks, most were small, dropped one for the freezer. Shooting a Thompson Thunderhawk Shadow, 100gr pyrodex, 240gr xtp. Again, the bullet was lodged under the skin on the opposite side. I am going to try a Barnes TXP to see how they group and if I can get some pass thru. Cheers!
