Scratch That Itch

My son got his itch scratched his first afternoon in the stand he claimed. He made a neck shot at about 80 yards on this nice young buck. He saw 2 does and another buck that was a little bigger than this, but couldn't get a shot at them. We will go back today if the weather holds out.[IMG][/IMG]

Thanks guys. I was proud of him on this one too.

The deer eased in to feed on some acorns. He watched the deer come and in it stopped at about 60 yards with a stump in between the he and the deer covering the vitals. He waited until the deer cleared and made the 80 yard neck shot. Probably about 10 minutes total, not bad patience for a 16 year old. He held off the buck fever and made a clean kill.
