"I've found that at 360,000 rpm at the muzzle, gyroscopic precession will cause a standard mean deviation of a dimensional factor of /\1.3 +- or so.
Harmonic influction can also induce a non-linear line of deviation from the norm."

You do realize that my statement was truly a load of bull excrement.
Just having a little fun at the poor OP's expense.

However , here's the real deal on computing bullet rpm:

Yup--I did But it really did take me a minute after looking at it and saying to myself--"what the heck formula is he using???" It's what happens after I've had way too much on the mind for too long...

I appreciate a good smart @$$. LOL

Surprisingly, my WAG using what I just pulled out of thin air wasn't quite as crazy as I thought it to be. My 1-8 twist Sport can spin up a bullet to 270,000 rpm using 3000 fps muzzle velocity as a reference. Wow!

Know what you mean--if I push my 6mm Remi to it's max with 55gr. ballistic tips it's cranking 328,000 rpm's... So yah, a couple numbers in there weren't so far off as to be blatantly BS obvious...
