1860 Army 4 screw help!

I am a newbie. Recently acquired this 1860 Colt by Armsport. Never Fired all Stainless. A very nice revolver. This appears to be what some refer to as a 4 screw frame. Is that Correct? What is that fourth screw for? The parts breakdown that came with the gun (my DI would have my a**), is generic for a " Colt Pony Express - Navy 1851 - Army 1860" and does not make any reference to that screw. The gun is pretty clean but want to strip it down before firing this week, hopefully tomorrow. This is really a nice revolver. Not familiar with Armsport but the workmanship is outstanding. Can't find any marks to indicate date of mfg.

That 4th screw is for a shoulder stock, the front brass hooks of the stock clips under that screw and there should be a notch in the frame on the base of the grip for the other mounting area. That's a nice revolver and the stocks come up for auction on Ebay occasionally, they aren't cheap, they are legal for b/p revolvers, but require a ATF stamp for modern revolvers.

I use those screws as just another handy place to put the nozzle from the can of CLP (or Pb-Blaster or WD-40 or RemOil or whatever you use) to blow some lube/cleaner on the innards when I don't wanna take the whole thing apart.

Good idea with the pb blaster, I may try that. I watch duelist1954 videos quite often, he does not strip the gun down all the way every time. Maybe every 3rd time or so. I am assuming frequent use though. Thanks for the info. Hope to head for the range tomorrow or Thursday.

I doubt that it was made by Armsport.
It could have been made by Armi San Marco or possibly Euroarms (Armi San Paolo).
It truly is one beautiful gun though.
