Scared of the Rhino
Anyone who has been looking at the Rhino has probably heard about the trigger issues and failures with the DS (Double/Single Action) version of the gun. The DAO version is the D model and only available in the 2" snub nosed model.
I have been waiting to see if this issue get's ironed out but I haven't heard much lately. I am almost ready to just get the 2" DAO model and have done with it. Has anyone heard something more recently as to whether they have fixed this problem with the DS models?

I own the 2" DAO version and it functions perfectly.
Personally, I can't see any reason for a thumb cocker on a snub nosed revolver.

How do they shoot, and is the recoil as low as advertised?

It's amazing. Recoil impulse feels less than that of a .38Spl, but the muzzle blast and flash is all .357 mag. Fierce.

I have a 5" Black and a 2" Nickle and haven't had any problems with either one. I have seen a lot of positive feedback from people that OWN one.
The newer ones come with Moon Clips, you don't have to use them. My 2" has the hammer (cocking lever), it's so small it really doesn't get in the way.

I have one and have been shooting it for a while. What are these trigger issues you speak of?

scared of the rhino?
i have the 4" version and would buy another rhino if ever given the chance. i absolutely LOVE mine the stiffness of the cocking lever is the ONLY issue i have w mine. i love the trigger, it feels good in my hand, it conceals well due to the flat sided hexagonal cylinder, and the design DEFINITELY lessens felt/perceived recoil.

I've wanted one of these for a while but can't seem to find one for sale. What does one of these fetch these days.
