New C&R rifle
Traded a Rossi Puma 45 Colt for this at the gun show! 03A3 Remington manufactured 1944 with a 12/43 two grove barrel. Emailed Remington and got this reply 1944 mfg. and the barrel is more than lickley the original, the rifle showed no signs of bieng fired, the man I traded with said he got it from DCM which was replaced by CMP many years ago.

Sounds like a good trade.
If you can post some better pics with some shots of the various markings you might get some folks to tell you how correct/original it is. But in any case I think you did well. Cheers, Oly |
