My new to me model 66
Picked it up for a song. It is a dash 2 made around 1983. Had cracked packmayer grips, so I bought these off ebay for $40 from Thailand. It had been fired less than 500 times. I've now shot 50 rounds through it. Super silky trigger.

I've seen those grips from Thailand all the time on ebay and they look so nice in the pictures (yours too!). How was the fit, finish and buying experience purchasing them?

The grips are better than I expected. They fit well and have a nice wood feel to them and a satin sheen. I believe they are oil finished, which I do prefer over polyurathane shinny grips. I wanted some that had a somewhat rounded and smooth butt, so they would not snag on an overshirt or coat. The finger grooves fit my hand very well. It took exactly 20 days for them to arrive by mail from Thailand. Yes they are worth the $40 charged for them.

Is this a gun for an Armslist? I think I saw it there... if it is indeed you got it for a song! Nice grips too.

I wanted to order some of those grips, but was concerned about the shipping time and fit.
