I was at an antique store in Dublin VA over the weekend and saw a bayonet on a table. As I got closer to it I could see that it was for a M91/30. Tag said $150.

fuhgettaboutit! $20.00 is most should pay for one, if you look you can prob pay less. |

Oh I know. I have several, and with the rifles attached to them they still aren't worth that much. Was half tempted to ask what they thought they had...

I have asked the 'what is that' question when I have seen the 91-30 bayonets at really high prices. The most common answer is that's a confederate bayonet from the civil war, one guy even told me you can tell because the union bayonets had a flat side on them. Just said thanks and walked away.
