Do I need ffl to ship to?

I am selling a 70's era rifle not in working cond do I need to ship to ffl or can I ship direct to buyer?

Working or not, interstate transfers need an FFL.

Correct. Interstate transfers will require an FFL. Shipping within your state directly to the purchaser is OK with federal law. However, your state law may be more restrictive. Put your location in your profile and it will help others give you better advise.
