Columbus/Southern Ohio TFL

Ok guys. It seems that there are a few of us here in the greater Columbus area, so why not get together and blast away?

Also, when spring rolls around, we could all head up to Tusco together for the plate shoots and meet up with the rest of the Ohio TFL crew.

I agree!

I just replied to the post in the rifle forum about shooting at the Delaware range. It is a pretty good but simple 100 yard range, with a very simple pistol range next door.

Also, I shoot pistols regularly at the Powder room in Powell. They have a 100 yard underground range that they are working on getting back into shootin condition.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

You can count me in if it's on a Saturday and at a range that allows rifles and shotguns. Along with non standard targets (pins, plates, clays etc) hate to drive a couple of hours just to punch paper with a pistol. Of course, side trips that include good food or company (wink, wink) can get me out of the house.

A couple nice side trips are Fin Feather Fur near Ashland on 250. They had a deal there last week that was too good to pass up and got me to make a visit. Winchester M70 Stealth for $470 (that's a crazy price). Unfortunately, all they had was .22-250 (which I already have in a M70 Varmint). Was really looking for .308WIN. Then there's always Vance's on Cleveland and Champion Shooters in New Albany.

I am up in the North West corner, but road trips are a specialty of mine. Let me know.

I'm interested - Spring sounds good. My weekends will be spent hunting through January. Maybe someone can show me how to hit something at a distance with a rifle.

Here's an idea. There will be several TFLers from Purdue here for a match against OSU on the weekend of Dec. 8. Maybe sometime that weekend would be a good time for a get together (even if we don't shoot). Thoughts?

So, where do we want to get together? I don't know jack about the local ranges, so its pretty much up to you guys. I'm open to just about anything, even if we have to take over the OSU range and shoot .22s
