Bullet pulling

I had to re-work some 45acp rounds and pull them apart using my bullet pulling hammer. Now a lot of the lead bullets have gun powder particles all over them. What is the easiest way to get the powder off the bullets. They are lead and lubed so the powder sticks to them real easy and is hard to get off. Can I just rinse them off and let them dry for a while

Try 1 & see , just make sure ya don`t melt the lube out of the grooves when ya dry em.

I just brush off what I can. A few extra flakes don't seem to hurt anything, but then I'm usually more than a tenth below max anyway.

Do what I did. Dump the bullets in your powder container. Oops!!
