Anyone using Hodgdon's Tightgroup or Universal in 45ACP?
Anyone using Hodgdon's Tightgroup or Universal in 45ACP?
Are they really cleaner than Bullseye or Unique? I've been using Bullseye and Unique for years and have always had great accuracy with them but they sure leave me with really dirty guns. I've been thinking about trying a cleaner powder, any suggestions? |

I have been using Titegroup exclusively for my .45 Auto for quite a while. Clean, meters easily and very economical.
I use Unique in .40 and it is tough to meter. Bullseye is comparable to I think the Titegroup is cleaner...except for the dirty smudge on the outside of the cases. The gun is much cleaner than. |

45acp
I use universal in just about all ofr my pistol reloads. I use it in all of my 45 auto loads as well as my 9X18 mak loads. It shoots clean and accurate from both calibers.
