Yes

In a 6.5mm Italian Carcano. Used IMR 4064 for about 2300 FPS. Penetrates over 30" in wet phone books and is margianl on deer as it has a tiny wound cavity.

In 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser, as well as...

6.5x53R Dutch Mannlicher. Unbelievably consistent and accurate in the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser, I wanted to duplicate the original 158gr military loading, hence the 160gr Hornady. But I kinda wonder if there isn't a load that won't perform in that particular model of rifle. I load it over XMR-4350 for the 6.5x55. I went to the same bullet for the 6.5x53R Dutch Mannlicher for the same reason, and it shoots quite well, even with the short barrel and sight radius of my Hembrug Cavalry Carbine. For this gun I load on top of IMR3031.
