Cz 750 s1 m1

Hi,

I want to buy a sniper rifle for shooting at my uncles long range (roughly 900yards).
It needs to be a .308win and i dont want to spend a fortune. Since i always loved cz products im pretty interested in the 750 S1 M1.
who has experience with this rifle? is it a "real sniper rifle" or is it just a cz550 with another stock and a bit more weight?

From what I have gleaned it is a 550 with a very expensive stock. I think it comes with a couple of the 10 round magazines, which I really like, and which fit perfectly in my 550.

It may also have a brake, I'm not sure about that.

I CAN tell you that I dearly enjoy shooting my 550 Varmint. Just a super rifle with great accuracy. It feels solid and stout. Love the walnut stock.

There may be more accurate rifles, and more expensive rifles, but for *me* this one just gives me such pleasure and satisfaction.

I put IOR glass on it, and I am quite content with my choice, but if I had it to do over again I would opt for a higher end IOR scope. Mine is the 2.5-10x FFP mil/mil scope.
