My new Gun
Here is my new Ruger Bisley Vaquero, .44 mag.
I have not shot it yet, but have done the 'poor boys trigger job', now just a trip to the backyard range. |

Wah, wah, wah. Whine, whine, etc. I want one much like that. Planning on going to a show this weekend in hopes of picking one up, as I can't find a used one in shops or want ads, try as I might.
Sure like the looks of that one, she's a beaut. Congrats! -- Sam |

I have one of those with the 4 1/2 barrel. Very very cool pistol. Let us know how it shoots.

Well I just shot it,
Seems to shoot good with whatever I use. sights are a little rough, but for what I want it for it will be fine. Action is smooth and getting better the more i shoot. I am not sure yet about the wood grips, as they are pretty smooth. The Bisley grip shape does make it point well and handle recoil very well. Hip shooting was VERY fun and I was surprised at how well it shot. I will post a target pic, of course I had to throw the last shot! back to the loading bench jeff |
