Check out this picture
My buddy was taking alot of video of us shooting our black powder revolvers and I was able to copy this frame from one of them. The revolver is a Uberti Remington 1858 with 5.5 inch barrel. I could'nt believe it when I was slowing down the video and saw that flame! Amazing. |

I guess we'll have to take your word for what kind of gun it is (because it is enveloped in FLAME).

As the late Johnny Storm would have said, "FLAME ON!"

Great photo!
That would really light up a room at midnight. If you didn't hit the guy he would die from fright, from the muzzle blast. |

Actually, when I saw this frame for the first time, I thought the same thing. I never felt anything out of the ordinary or anything different than my other revolvers. Wierd.

Elmer Keith grew up around some of the old time gunfighters, it was said in a saloon gun fight..the first shots would blow out the lamps! Must of been a hot time in the old town that night!

ASM 2nd Model Dragoon loaded with ONLY 30gr 3f Goex!!! If the ball doesn't hit the bad guy, he'll have second degree burns at least at close range.

kwhi43.......how do you post those pictures in sucession like that. Thats really impressive. Is it a few frames of a video back to back? Or is it too complicated to explain via typing?

Ideal Tool
By the way, I knew Elmer well. He was borned about 50 miles east of me
here in Kansas City. I stayed at his house for a week in Salmon Idaho back in 1964. Great guy, he lived it. He was a little different from most folks tho. |
