New Mossberg 464 SPX in Dec. 2012 American Rifleman

My eyes! My eyes!

AR collaspable stock, tri-rail fore-end, flash hider, fiber-optic sights.

Where's my puke smiley?

Give me wood furniture or if it has to be synthetic, a traditionally shaped fore-end and stock.

They sure did some mental gymnastics to justify why it would be a good thing to have on hand for the apocalypse of one's choice.

When I saw a promotional picture earlier in the year I honestly thought that it was a hoax.

Now I'm sure that would be a fine rifle after you replace the stock and forearm, loose that goofy flash hider and add a normal leather sling. But then again after doing all of that why not just buy a regular rifle.

I would be interested in what the real sales numbers are. My guess is 99% of them are going to Hollywood

At a price of 535.00 each. What a zombie equalizer hey!! Will it digest Black Powder? There's a rumor going around this weapon has a fully adjustable cycling rate of fire. Which amazes me these days considering all that technology known to be in the firearm industry. WoW!! 4V50 Gary gim'ee some money so I can get me one of these will yaw._

Holy Bat Rifle!

After seeing the features and spec's and reading some of the comments linked below, I like the fact that it also comes in .22LR, that the adjustable stock will fit youth and ladies, and that it helps to reinforce the 2nd Amendment among youth and other "tacticool inclined people".
Plus folks can set it up to shoot Zombies in the dark of night until Batman responds to their Bat Distress Signal and then shows up to save Gotham.

Oh great, so there's an 18" bbl 13 shot 22 LR version of "that" gun. I'll get a Marlin 39 first thank you.

Even though the folks who do like it may not be black powder shooters, since it promotes the shooting sports then it helps to reinforce the 2nd Amendment which means that it serves a noble purpose.
To wit "Every cloud has a silver lining"....

All Five user reviews at Bud's Gun Shop gave it a 5 star rating!

Just wanna start by saying this is the first lever action I've ever owned and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I think the tactical look is awesome and the adjustable stock is great. The gun shipped real quick. Was in my hands just 4 days after I ordered it. The action is smooth with a little bit of play in the lever but that's typical in a lever action I hear. I've already taken it out to give it a shot and I couldn't believe how accurate the gun is. Mossberg makes a fine lever action. For the price you can't go wrong in my opinion. Thanks again Buds!
