9mm & 380 cast load data
I just casted my first boolits and would like to know if you fine people could help me with the load data.
I used the Lee .356 102gr RN mold so I can use the bullets in both my Ruger LCP .380 & S&W SVE 9mm. I am using bullesye powder. I just need to know how many grains for each caliber. thanks |

I am going to guess a little less Bullseye for your lead bullet, but then again it is only a guess. A very small load of powder, so be very sure of your scale. Bullseye is very thrifty as it gets the job done with so little powder, but it is easy to get over pressure. |

Bad news for 380 acp cast
Those .380s and 32s get gunked-up real fast with cast lube. Jacketed is the way to go. Crimp is difficult with the 380 cast too, much more challenging then a 9 mill. Reloading 380 acp is a real challenge or it was for me. Have fun.

With 100gr FMJ I have been using"
2.9gr bullseye in the 380 4.2gr bullseye in the 9mm That works real well for me. I think I will decrease that a little and work my way up for the 102gr casts |
