Hornady New Style Powder Measure

Can anyone tell me if the newer Hornady Powder Measure is a lot better than the old Model which I have on my AP progressive press. Mine is case activated but has the extra linkages with the longer spring. My linkages are wore out Hornady is sending me new ones withiut charge but they told me about the newer system which will not hang on certain powders as easy. I was wondering about it if it works better overall? Mine has almost 30,000 rounds throuhg it but I always have updated this machine as better things come out.
Thanks for the help.
