steel match ammo

has anyone pulled the bullets on steel cases and seated match bullets. or pulled bullets and loaded with 4320 and seated match on top.

has anyone reloaded steel cases? obviosly they would need to be boxer primed. i have an old set of 308 dies and was reading about guys loading steel. my hk plays hell with brass cases. and they are hard to recover. if i find 20 out of a hundred i am lucky.

I've loaded steel .45 ACP before and it seemed to be hard on the dies, but it can be done.

I've never made up ersatz Mexican Match ammo from steel cases, though I've done it with military ball ammo before. Pull the bullets, dump the powder, and put it in a good quality measure to distribute the charges evenly. Take a few aside to work the load up gradually before recharging the cases.
