Scope mount issue
Hi all, I have a 1950's Mannlicher Schoenauer in 30-06 (double set triggers) that was drilled and taped for a top receiver (redfield) scope mount in the 70's and apparently the front mount holes were not drilled on the centerline and are making scope alignment and zeroing impossible. I would think that I need a custom front mount or a blank mount that could be drilled to accommodate the offset drill pattern. Could anyone please recommend a gunsmith or an adjustable front mount that would be able to fix my problem, hopefully a gunsmith in the north east, I’m in NYC.
Thank you for your help Todd |

If the holes are not too far out of alignment, you can try the Burris Signature rings with Pos-Align eccentric inserts that will allow you to compensate for some offset.
