Wondering if there are any local IDPA shooters

I go to school in Danville, Va but live in Roanoke, Va during the summer and winter. I would really like to watch an IDPA competition. I just don't know anywhere around here (Danville) that holds any competitons. Does anybody have any suggestions.

Triangle sportsman's Club in Tazwell has IDPA matches. I'm not sure how far Tazwell is from Danville. http://www.triangleonline.org/

I'm afraid that is a little too far away. I live in Roanoke, so I might just have to wait till I go back home. That sucks because I really want to get my feet wet with competition.

If you're looking for matches / other shooters in an area, try www.idpaforum.com. It's one of the best places to discuss IDPA and get to know fellow shooters.

Just post a question in the Match Chat forum - I'm sure you'll get an answer!
