Just ordered My Lock-N-Load any good 40 s&w Loads out there???
Decided on a hornandy L-N-L and am trying to save myself some time working up a load for a 40 s&w. Any one have any old favorite loads for punching paper with this round???

Also, check propellant manufacturers' websites. I used to use Red Dot under my lead 170 - 175 grain bullets; now I'm loading 180 grain jacketed - less smoke! I'll also be trying WST for the same reason. |

extremely well-tested
Sized case, CCI500, Rainier 180g TCJ-FP, OAL 1.130"+/-.005", 6.0g Alliant Power Pistol, LEE Carbide Factory Crimp die (yeah, add a wee bit of crimp).
av = 890-930fps accurate

westshoot, I have heard the lee crimp die is to long to use on the L-N-L press, what other crimp die would be a good one to use. And While were at it, who makes a good 155-165g. FMJ. At a cheap price????

Cheap bullet? Good bullet = Zero, Montana Gold.
